What is SUP, For Absolute Beginners
SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) is a water sport where you stand on a large board and propel yourself with a single paddle. Fethiye Çalış is a sheltered shallow bay: calm water, sandy bottom, no waves — the safest ground for a first-timer. No experience is needed; most people stand within 5 minutes. Anyone aged 11+ who can swim is welcome.
Do I need experience?
No. Everyone stands on the first try — the board is 1 metre wide at waist level for balance. Just be able to swim; the life vest is already on you.
What if I fall?
Çalış beach is only 1.5 m deep and warm even 50 metres out. If you fall, you climb back on the board in 5 seconds. The board is leashed to your ankle and never floats away.
What do I wear?
Swimwear + sunscreen is enough. A UV shirt if you prefer. Towel, drinking water and a waterproof phone bag (drybag) come with the package.
Can my child join?
Yes, children aged 11 and above can ride. The easiest start is parent and child side by side on two boards, or sharing one board — you stay next to your child until they find their balance.

We're on the water from 06:00 to 22:00 — every hour is paddleable. The two guides below cover sunrise and sunset outings specifically.
You can paddle any hour 06:00–22:00. Note: you can paddle any time of day. These two windows are simply the most loved 'photo windows'.

Coast Guard regulation and clear rules we set for your safety.
Age Limit
18+ solo. 14–18 with parental consent and supervision. Under 14 only as a passenger on an adult's board.
Weight Limit
Max 120 kg. Hard limit for equipment safety.
Must Swim
Knowing how to swim is required. Vest stays on at all times.
Vest & Leash
Included on every rental. Legally required — must be on at sea.
Weather Policy
If wind or waves affect safety, we postpone for free.
Swim Lanes
SUP entry into buoyed swim areas is forbidden. Paddle towards open sea.
Frequently Asked
I've never tried SUP — can I?
Yes. Çalış has shallow calm water suited for beginners. A 5-minute briefing is enough; you stand up within 10 minutes.
Do you really deliver to the beach?
Yes. Free delivery for Fethiye centre and Çalış. Drop your spot on WhatsApp, we arrive with inflated boards and full kit.
I can't swim — can I rent?
No. Swimming ability is required for safety. Vest is included, but swimming in sea conditions is mandatory.
Can I bring my child?
Under 14 may ride as a passenger on an adult board. 14–18 with parental consent. 18+ solo.
What if the weather turns bad?
If wind or waves are unsafe, we postpone for free. If the Coast Guard issues a warning, we don't go out either.
